Experience Through Their Eyes

Cool almost retro/grandma's kitchen vibes. Clean and quiet. Handicap accessible. We got seated right away on a Saturday morning. Our waitress was in training and both her and her trainer were kind, prompt and a good amount of attention. Food was excellent! Very good pricing as well. Try the granola pancakes and the fresh $1 donuts! Good coffee too :) I felt comfortable with my son in his wheelchair. Definitely coming back!

Wonderful experience - and they do accept credit cards looking back at the other reviews. We all loved our food and even got a dozen HOMEMADE donuts from Chef Dan! Thank you Amber and Cindy as well! Delicious and homey! Will be back.

We have been searching for a good breakfast restaurant for *years* near Delavan Wisconsin and, despite reading great reviews about many places, they were all 'not awesome'. Then, a week ago, we discovered Daddy Maxwell's quite by accident --- and it was *fantastic*! We especially enjoyed the blueberry 'French Batter's pancakes. It was like eating a thick crepe. Food was excellent, prices very reasonable, food came quickly despite the restaurant being packed, and service was outstanding (very friendly and checked on us multiple times during the meal). Oh, and if you get there early enough (because they sell out fast), they make their own out of this world donuts from scratch (chocolate, vanilla, and cinnamon sugar). We got lucky and we're able to order 6 to go...

Great place to eat at. You must try their fish dinners! The Haddock is done to perfection! (This is coming from a woman who won't eat fish unless her husband cooks it) I have truly found a restaurant that I definitely will be back to have the fish and try even more items on their menu. Gyro was perfect and and the Portabella mushroom and feta burger is amazing! Oh and if you Love Chocolate cake, you must try their homemade cakes too! Their baker is amazing! I heard they have a carrot cake that's fantastic as well. Definitely worth going back to.

What a great little gem in Williams Bay! We went for breakfast on Sunday and it was PHENOMENAL! The staff is so nice and attentive, I never had an empty coffee cup and the food what out of this world! I had a HALF order of the french battered pancakes and could only eat half of the half! They were divine. My husband ordered the Hungry Man's breakfast and it did not disappoint. He definitely did not leave there hungry. And it is so reasonably priced I highly recommend this quaint little restaurant for breakfast or lunch. Or both! You won't be able to beat the quality, friendliness or cost!
